What Is Chapel Builders ?
Chapel Builders is a ministry to help with the construction and repairing of the Lord's Church Buildings.  We help with the planning, construction or reconstruction of buildings that are used to worship the Lord in.   With projects in California, the United States and around the World. 

When do we help?
* At the request of a sister Church of like faith 

* It is the responsibility of the inviting church to provide all necessary permits, licenses, & insurances needed to start the project. All material needed must also be supplied by inviting Church. 

* Request for help is taken on a first come basis 

Who Sponsors Chapel Builders?
Chapel Builders is a ministry of the First Missionary Baptist Church of Fresno, California. It began in 1988 and was headed up by Brother Howard Frakes, until the lord called him home July of 1996, Since October 1996 Brother Richard Wharton has headed up this ministry.

Who Can Help And How Can You Help?
Anyone who wants to see the success of the Lords work promoted in their Church and Churches around the world. If you can get to the project you will be used, no matter what experience you may or may not have. On the projects we need cleaners, gophers, cooks, encouragers, prayer warriors, and we do need all types of specialist in the building trade. If you would like to help "please do", you'll be a blessing to us and you'll get a blessing as well.
If you can't send physical help to the job we could use your financial help sending Brother Richard and others to these projects. You could also sponsor someone from your Church by sending them to a project. One of the main reasons for Chapel Builders, is to save our Sister Churches money, we accomplish this by using volunteer laborers. 

Chapel Builders has saved our Churches thousands of dollars in labor cost, Maybe we can help you Or maybe you can help us. Together we can help preach Christ throughout the world by giving our Sister Churches a place to meet or by improving their existing facilities.

Some still do not realize what Chapel Builders is all about.  I suppose that because of the name “Chapel Builders”, people think that a group of men will get out of the truck with me when I arrive. Maybe some day this will be, but for now I am the only full time Mission Builder working with Chapel Builders.  Therefore the “S” in Builders is “U” the volunteers that come to help put up a building for God. A lot can be accomplished by working together and thousands of dollars can be saved too. As an inviting Church that asks for help you should realize that you will be expected to have people there to help.  If you do not have members that can help please let me know.  Also, if you can let other Sister Churches in the area know about your project that will help too.  If you know of a Sister Church that is having a work day, please take the time to go and help, you will be a blessing to them but you‘ll probably go away with the biggest blessing.
