November 14, 2007A lot has happened since my last report in August (sorry). I’ve worked in Red Bluff on the Chambers home and also spent some time back in Porterville setting toilets and partitions in their new bathrooms from the re-modeling project back in July. In October I worked with a team of men from Arkansas and Kentucky in Oshku Japan. We added approximately 400 sq feet to their building and re-sided the entire building. It is exciting to see what God is doing in Japan. Randy Taylor and I went over to Mongolia from Japan and spent a few days looking at their new building and trying to figure out if we could be a help to them on a future project. The work in Mongolia seems to be doing great and the Lord has blessed them with a building full of potential, as well as one that needs a lot of work. But he has blessed them financially to be able to hire much of the work done and they seem to be doing a good job. I just finished re-roofing the Pixley Sanctuary. Everything went great and I had lots of help from the church members as well as, Brother McCright and Brother Cowart from the Porterville Church. It’s always great having help on these projects.I’ll be pouring concrete for the Beacon Church in Redding after Thanksgiving and then plan to be helping the Chambers with their home.I’m still planning to have something done on my neck and will hopefully get a second opinion soon. I’m looking into a possible clinical trial that is using an artificial disk instead of doing a fusion. Please add this to your prayer list.I’m sure that all of you are facing the same dilemma concerning the constant increases in fuel and everything related to it. I just paid $3.70 a gallon for diesel the other day. Our monthly travel expenses have increased due to fuel, tools, tool repair, vehicle upkeep, etc. These expenses can run anywhere from 1000 to 1500 a month. Our monthly income does not meet that and it’s only because of special offerings that we stay afloat. Please pray with me that this need will be met.If you have any needs that I can help with please let me know as our schedule is freeing up.
NOTE: Churches that are supporting the Chapel Builder ministry monthly. Could you please make the checks payable to Chapel Builders. Our bank won’t accept checks made out to me anymore. Thank you.
